As you all know I celebrated my 25th birthday on August 5! I began celebrating Friday night with dinner at a local steak joint called Columbias with my in-laws, hubby and Mattie. It was a great dinner and very very yummy!
Saturday I was able to have breakfast with my parents while my car was at Toyota, Saturday night we had dinner at another local restaurant called Malones. I had steak again it was soooo good!! Malones is one of my most favorite places to eat!
Sunday I had a workout session with my trainer and then that night we had Mexican for dinner at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.
If you are following along I celebrated 3 birthday dinners before my actual birthday. I know I am spoiled. I don't mean to be but I just can't help it.
Monday my in laws took me to lunch at a restaurant here in town called Addie's. I had the chicken quesadilla! It was soo delicious. My mother in law even brought a candle for me to blow out and they sang happy birthday to me! It was very thoughtful. I am a lucky girl to have married into such a great family. A family who treats me as if I am blood! That is one thing Chris and I both lucked out on. You hear to many horrible in-law stories, but I only have good ones! My Mother in law also baked me a delicious red velvet cake with cream cheese icing!!! Yummy in my tummy!
Monday night I was able to have dinner with some of my family at a restaurant in Lexington! It is always a great day when you are around family. I am thankful for everyone who helped me celebrate my birthday!
And my last birthday treat was a cake from my boss/friend at the salon I work at!!! That is right.. I got 2 very yummy birthday cakes for my birthday!!! :)
The only thing missing was my baby brother! He is stuck at his Drills for the army so he was unable to celebrate with us. :(
Overall turning 25 as been a fantastic time. I am looking forward to what the next year will bring!
I have a post scheduled for you tomorrow about our update on our moving situation!
Until next time XOXO,
Lyndsay
