Welp today is Saturday and I am at it again. Busy. busy weekend as usual. Do we ever get a break? I remember back in the day; oh you know like 8 years ago when weekends were spent doing nothing and sleeping! I haven't slept in, since I don't know how long!
Anyways. I tend to get a little side tracked. Today I am working my second job which is a stylist. I studied Cosmetology at Paul Mitchell and I am currently working part time doing hair! Today is a very busy day in the salon. **Side note~ if you are local you should check out Candace &Co Salon in Georgetown, any of the amazing stylist there can hook you up with a fabulous hair style for summer.. so come on in and get your hair did!**
Today I am going to recap a little mini vacation that we took at the end of April to celebrate a fabulous women I like to call my Mommy! We went down to good ole' Gatlinburg TN for a weekend of food, drinks, and fun to celebrate my wonderful Momma's birthday! We were overly excited when my cousin Adam decided to join us for the mini get away! It was just like old times plus having a hubby and a sweet little girl on my hip. We did a little shopping, and ate A LOT! Why is it that when you are on vacation you fill the need to STUFF your face?? At least I do anyways, which is possibly why I can't lose this baby weight that I have been packing around for 5 months!
After dinner Saturday night we went to Smokey Mountain Moonshine Distillery! Boy oh Boy, the guys thought they were College Frat boys living the dream and could drink the night away. After downing a fifth of Jager before dinner, and more drinks at dinner; the distillery did them ALL in. Adam was first and the rest dropped like flies one by one or they may have been swatted by yours truly for being quite annoying, either way they didn't make it very long .
Over all we had a fantastic weekend, and my Mom is another year older! We are all now broke and looking forward to our next vacation which will be this Fall!
